Despite only running two events thus far, the Resurrection Fighting alliance is quickly building a brand name that brings both great fighters and fights to the MMA faithful. Primarily based in Nebraska, this promotion has featured stars from the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce and just about everywhere else in between.
The RFA also features some of the best in the world of female MMA, including the top ranked Tara LaRosa and Elaina Maxwell. While the first event was broadcast on KearneyEvents.com, the RFA stepped it up for the next event with a major card that aired on the Sherdog website. The company is changing the broadcast plans for this month’s Resurrection Fighting Alliance III event as the event will be broadcast live on their official website (see above).
The company made headlines a few months back when they announced that UFC ultimate Fighter II champion Joe Stevenson would fight for the first time since being released from the UFC at the June RFA event. While the event will be broadcast on the official Resurrection fighting Alliance website, one can safely assume many eyes will be on the company that night.
While no plans have been announced thus far for a fourth event, there is no doubt when it officially is announced…the MMA world will be buzzing about the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.
