By David Tees on 8/21/2012 11:44 AM

Last weekend was all about Ronda Rousey making her first title defense, this weekend starts off with a UFC veteran making his light heavyweight debut. Also, a legendary grappler and MMA trainer in Braulio Estima makes his professional mixed martial arts debut. If that was not enough, Titan Fighting Championships 24 features four other fights with top MMA prospects.

Kicking off the action is a bantamweight division fight as Jose Vega (9-6-0) competes against Adam Stickley (1-2-0). Jose Vega enters the fight riding a three fight losing streak, with his last victory coming over two years ago. Adam Stickley enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with all of his pro fights ending in the opening round. These are two fighters in need of a major victory and it will be Jose Vega getting himself that major victory.

Heavyweights enter the cage next as Matt Uhde (3-0-0) will be doing battling in the cage against Matt Foster (1-2-0). Matt Uhde is an undefeated fighter who has achieved two of three victories in the C3 Fights promotion. Matt Foster enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak and has not achieved a victory in nearly a year. Matt Uhde is an undefeated fighter who will be remaining undefeated when this fight is all said and done.

A pair of featherweights will hit the cage next as Brian “Mr. D” Davidson (9-3-0) will do battle with Joe Murphy (6-0-0). Brian Davidson enters the fight riding a four fight winning streak, which includes a victory over UFC veteran Jens Pulver. Joe Murphy is an undefeated fighter who has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in The Warriors Cage promotion. This fight could be the show stealer of the entire event, but it will be Brian Davidson ending his opponents undefeated streak.

Bantamweight fighters will be featured next as Andrew “The Beast” Whitney (8-1-0) battles Cody “The Renegade” Gibson (6-3-0). Andrew Whitney is currently undefeated in titan competition, with victories over Laramie Shaffer and Jose Vega. Cody Gibson has only won one of his last three, but he does hold a victory over UFC veteran Walel Watson. Andrew Whitney is a fighter on the rise in the world of bantamweights and he will be picking up another victory here.

Up next is a welterweight division fight as Chris “The Hammer” Holland (5-3-0) takes on Braulio “Carcara” Estima (0-0-0). Chris Holland is coming off of the biggest victory of his career, which came over UFC veteran Phil Baroni at Ring Of Fire 43. Braulio Estima is a world renowned grappling ace and he will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight. This debut is a long time coming for Braulio Estima and he will be making a successful debut on Friday Night.

Headlining this card is a light heavyweight division fight as Esteves “Quiet Riot” Jones (8-3-0) faces Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (11-4-0). Esteves Jones enters the fight having won one of his last three, with that lone victory coming over Deutsch Pu’u. Anthony Johnson will be making his light heavyweight debut in this fight after previously competing as a welterweight and middleweight. Anthony Johnson is a dangerous fighter at any weight class and he will be showing why with a victory in the main event.
