The ever popular Resurrection Fighting Alliance returns to action this Friday Night on AXS TV with a pair of title fights. While the main card will be airing live on AXS TV, the two fight preliminary card can only be enjoyed by those who bought tickets. Either way, there is a pair of fights on the preliminary card that will feature four talented up and coming fighters.
Kicking off the action is a bantamweight division fight as David Rhoads (3-5-0-1NC) battles Derrick Mandell (1-0-0). Rhoads will be returning to the cage after a two year layoff, plus he has only won one of his last seven bouts. Mandell made his professional MMA debut a few months ago at a North American Fighting Championships event, defeating Ryan Mendez. Rhoads does not have a lot going for him at this point in his career, which is why it will be Mandell remaining undefeated in the end.
Headlining this portion of the card is a lightweight division fight as Kevin Morris (3-1-0) faces Brian Householder (1-0-0). Morris will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Quinton McCottrell at a King Of The Cage event. Householder returns to the cage after a near-two year break from competition, but he did defeat Damon Butterfield at a King Of The Cage event. Despite coming off of a loss, Morris is the more active fighter and that will help carry him to a victory on Friday Night.
