With no major promotions running events this weekend, the Cage Warriors promotion is putting together a card that will rival just about any other card out there. The UK-based promotion even has a top notch preliminary card, which is streaming live on Facebook before the main card. There will be three fights in total that are streaming on Facebook, which features six fighters ready for the big stage.
Kicking off the action is a welterweight division fight as Steven Dinsdale (5-1-0) battles Dan Rushworth (5-0-0). Dinsdale will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Bruno Carvalho at Cage Warriors 52. Rushworth is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, but this fight will be his Cage Warriors debut. How this fight is not a part of the main card is beyond me, but it will be Rushworth remaining undefeated in the end.
Up next is a featherweight division fight as Jason “The Animal†Cooledge (8-4-0) takes on Saul “The Hangman†Rogers (6-1-0). Cooledge is currently winless in Cage Warriors competition, having lost to Jason Ball at Cage Warriors 53. Rogers will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Shay Walsh at a Cage Contenders event. Rogers was looking really dominant prior to his first loss, which is why he will rebound to pick up the victory.
Headlining this portion of the card is a welterweight division fight as Mohsen Bahari (5-0-0) faces Matt Inman (10-5-0). Bahari is currently undefeated in Cage Warriors competition, having defeated Piotr Ptasinski at Cage Warriors Fight Night VII. Inman has split both of his Cage Warriors appearances, defeating Leon Kenge and suffering a defeat to Jack Mason. This is easily the biggest fight of Bahari’s career and he will achieve the biggest victory of his young career.
