The final event of the three that are airing on Friday Night alone will be the Legacy Fighting Championships 26 card. The event will be headlined by a featherweight title bout between Leonard Garcia and Kevin Aguilar. The preliminary card, which will not be streamed in any way, features eight fighters looking to move up to the bigger MMA stage.
Kicking off the action is a lightweight division bout as David Siller (0-1-0) competes against Kevin Troyer (0-0-0). Siller made his professional MMA debut back at Legacy FC 20, suffering a second round TKO loss to Jared Perez. Troyer will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight, but he did win two of three fights as an amateur. Troyer has waited a longtime to turn pro since his last amateur fight and that time off will hurt him as Siller gets his first pro win.
A pair of light heavyweights will battle next as Daniel Jolly (3-0-0) is in action against Matt Steward (1-0-0). Jolly made his Legacy FC debut at Legacy FC 17, which is where he defeated Larry Hopkins by submission in the opening round. Steward is returning to action after being away for more than a year, his last fight was a victory over Larry Hopkins in October 2012. Jolly has been the more active fighter hen compared to his opponent and that will help carry him to remain undefeated.
Up next is a lightweight division attraction as Dimitre Ivy (2-2-0) stands across the cage from Matt Mazurek (1-0-0). Ivy is returning to action after being away for more than a year and he is a veteran of the Kickass Productions company. Mazurek has been away from action for well over a year as well, defeating Jamall Emmers in his lone bout. These are two fighters who are going to be looking to get rid of the cage rust and it will be Ivy doing so while getting the win.
Headlining this portion of the card is a bantamweight division fight as Billy Buch (4-2-0) battles Albert “Magno†Martinez (2-6-0). Buch has only won one of his last three fights and he is currently winless in Legacy Fighting Championships competition. Martinez will enter the fight riding a five fight losing streak, with one of those losses coming to UFC veteran Erik Perez. Buch will be looking to right the ship entering this fight and that is exactly what he will be doing when he gets the win.
