The final event on the MMA calendar in 2013 comes from the Cage Warriors promotion, with a pair of title fights in the headlining position. There is a lot of great MMA action worth checking out on this card, with three bouts taking place on the unaired portion of the preliminary card. These three unaired preliminary card bouts will feature six fighters who are looking to make a big impact at the end of 2013.
Kicking off the action is a featherweight division attraction as Mick “Basher†Brennan (4-3-0) battles Kieran O’Brien (1-0-0). Brennan will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak and he is the current Battlezone FC Featherweight Champion. O’Brien made his professional MMA debut a little over a month ago, defeating Fabio Lage by knockout at Battlezone FC IX. O’Brien is barking up the wrong tree in his second pro bout, as it will be Brennan ending his undefeated streak.
Up next is a bantamweight division affair as Gavin Kelly (3-1-0) stands across the cage from Dylan Sheehan (0-0-0). Kelly is currently winless in Cage Warriors competition, having dropped a fight to Ben Rees at Cage Warriors 55. Sheehan will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight after winning one of three as an amateur. Sheehan should have spent more time in the amateur ranks before turning pro as Kelly hands him a defeat in his pro debut.
Headlining this portion of the card is a lightweight division bout as Chris Boujard (0-0-0) faces Peter Queally (3-0-0). Boujard will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight, but he did win five of six fights as an amateur. Queally will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the Cage Contenders promotion. Queally looked pretty good while in the amateur circuit and he will pull the upset in his pro debut to start his pro career off with a win.
