Despite the card being ravaged by a plethora of injuries, the Cage Warriors 67 event is still coming our way this Saturday. Also, it is odd to think that with four MMA events this weekend, Cage Warriors 67 is the only event on Saturday. There is a preliminary card as well, but it will only be featuring one fight that pits some top prospects against each other.
The lone preliminary card fight takes place in the featherweight division as Mark “Short Fuse†Handley (5-10-0) battles Paul “The Prodigy†Rogers (1-1-0). Handley will enter the fight riding a six fight losing streak and he has not won a fight in nearly two years. Rogers is currently winless in Cage Warriors competition, dropping a fight to Brett Caswell at Cage Warriors 59. This is a must win situation for both competitors, but it will be the more experienced Handley getting the duke.
