Bellator Featherweight Division Fight: Brandon Bender vs. Mario Navarro

Fight #1 - Bellator Light Heavyweight Division Fight

Carlos Eduardo (11-2-0) vs. Rodney Wallace (19-8-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Wallace catching Eduardo with a few jabs, Eduardo responds by cracking Wallace with a hard right. Wallace also starts attacking Eduardo with some leg kicks, Wallace catches Eduardo with a lot of short range punches. Eduardo backs up Wallace after hitting him with a two punch combo, Eduardo then hits Wallace with a left hook and a knee strike. The fighters clinch up and Wallace hits Eduardo with a knee strike as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Wallace catching Eduardo with a front kick to the midsection, Wallace dances around Eduardo while peppering him with jabs. Eduardo rocks Wallace with a right to the midsection, Eduardo follows that up by popping Wallace with a right. Wallace responds by catching Eduardo with an ugly superman punch, Eduardo continues to just swing wildly at Wallace. The fighters exchnage a few kicks as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Wallace immediately popping Eduardo with jabs, Eduardo then catches Wallace with a few wild strikes. Eduardo follows that up by catching a kicking Wallace with a counter right, Wallace catches Eduardo with a few punches after a failed takedown attempt. Wallace also continues to attack Eduardo with leg kicks, Wallace scores a takedown on Eduardo and he gets the full guard. Wallace begins to attack Eduardo with some ground and pound, Eduardo causes a scramble that gets the fight standing. Wallace grabs a hold of Eduardo to catch him with a knee strike, Eduardo scores a takedown on Wallace and they both pop right up as the round ends.

Fight Result: Rodney Wallace def. Carlos Eduardo by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #2 - Bellator Light Heavyweight Division Fight

Travis Clark (7-2-0) vs. Philipe Lins (7-0-0)

Referee: Mike Beltran

Round One

The round begins with Clark attacking Lins with leg kicks, Lins starts hitting Clark with some counter strikes. Lins drops Clark with a jab and he gets back control on him, Lins locks in a rear naked choke and a tap out follows.

Fight Result: Philipe Lins def. Travis Clark by submission via rear naked choke (0:40, R1)

Fight #3 - Bellator Catchweight Division Fight

Ricky Rainey (6-2-0) vs. Andy Murad (6-1-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Murad attacking Rainey with some leg kicks, Murad then hits Rainey with a pair of punches to the rib cage. Rainey comes in on Murad to catch him with a right, Rainey rocks Murad with a few rights and the referee quickly jumps in.

Fight Result: Ricky Rainey def. Andy Murad by TKO via strikes (1:11, R1)

Fight #4 - Bellator Bantamweight Division Fight

Rob Emerson (15-10-0) vs. Joe Taimanglo (19-5-1)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Taimanglo quickly attacking Emerson with a front kick, Taimanglo then pops Emerson with an uppercut. Emerson then catches a swinging Taimanglo with a two punch combination, Emerson then hits Taimanglo with a left hook. Emerson continues to charge forward on Taimanglo while throwing a lot of strikes, Taimanglo scores a takedown on Emerson and he gets the half guard. Emerson scrambles to get the fight standing again, Emerson starts catching Taimanglo with a few left hooks. Taimanglo scores a takedown on Emerson and he gets the half guard, Taimanglo transitions to the full mount on Emerson. Emerson eats a few strikes while gettingTaimanglo back into the half guard, Taimanglo gains back control on Emerson as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with both fighters attacking the other with kicks, Emerson scores a takedown on Taimanglo and he gets back control. Taimanglo quickly shakes Emerson off of him before getting top position, Taimanglo then gains back control on Emerson. Taimanglo starts attacking Emerson with some ground and pound, Taimanglo purposely gets to his feet after his submission attempts are all blocked. Emerson dances around Taimanglo while popping him with some strikes, Emerson then hits Taimanglo with a flying knee strike to the rib cage. Emerson backs up Taimanglo by catching him with a solid right, Emerson hits Taimanglo with a knee strike as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Emerson and Taimanglo exchanging kicks, Emerson then takes the chance to catch Taimanglo with a flying knee strike. Emerson follows that up by hitting Taimanglo with a left hook, Emerson follows that up by hitting a swinging Taimanglo with a counter left. Emerson begins to attack Taimanglo with a plethora of leg kicks, Taimanglo tries attacking Emerson with a bunch of punching combinations. Emerson attacks the midsection of Taimanglo with a few strikes, E,erson then catches a leaping Taimanglo with a right. Emerson follows that up by hitting Taimanglo with a right as the round ends.

Fight Result: Rob Emerson def. Joe Taimanglo by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #5 - Bellator Welterweight Division Fight

Ron Keslar (11-5-0) vs. Karo Parisyan (22-10-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Keslar attacking Parisyan with plenty of jabs, Keslar then hits a swinging Parisyan with an uppercut. Keslar rocks Parisyan with a right that is followed by a knee strike, both fighters exchange a few strikes during a wild exchange. Parisyan grabs a hold of Keslar before hitting him with knee strikes, Parisyan then hits a swinging Keslar with a counter right. Keslar briefly drops Parisyan with a right after avoiding a kick, Parisyan attacks Keslar with a front kick as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Keslar quickly attacking Parisyan with leg kicks, Keslar backs Parisyan into the cage wall before popping him with a right. The fighters clicnh on the cage wall while exchanging knee strikes, Parisyan scores a takedown on Keslar and they both pop right back up. The fighters continue to grapple along the cage wall, Parisyan drops Keslar with a right and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Karo Parisyan def. Ron Keslar by KO via strikes (4:05, R2)

Fight #6 - Bellator Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final Fight

Brandon Halsey (5-0-0) vs. Joe Pacheco (7-1-0)

Note: My computer crashed during this fight and I was unable to cover the bout, but Brandon Halsey defeated Joe Pacheco by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
