Four fight UFC veteran and UFC Ultimate Fighter 15 alumni Cristiano Marcello has announced his retirement from the sport, he does so with a record of 13-6-0. During his four fight run in the UFC, Marcello defeated Reza Madadi, while suffering defeats to Sam Sicilia, Kazuki Tokudome and Joe Proctor. Outside of the UFC, Marcello competed in other promotions such as PRIDE, Meca World Vale Tudo and Bitetti Combat. Marcello's last professional MMA fight came at UFC Fight Night 36, where he lost to Joe Proctor by unanimous decision.
