UFC ULTIMATE FIGHTER NATIONS FINALE FIGHT PASS PRELIMINARY CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 4/14/2014 1:51 PM

In a week that will feature two separate UFC events, it is good to know that it all begins with a star studded line up for Wednesday's UFC Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. The event will be headlined by a huge middleweight division bout as Michael Bisping battles Tim Kennedy. There will be four preliminary card fights streaming on UFC Fight Pass, with the feature fight being a key lightweight division bout.

Kicking off the action is a bantamweight division attraction as Mitch Gagnon (10-2-0) competes against Tim Gorman (8-2-0). Gagnon will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, last defeating Dustin Kimura at UFC 165. Gorman will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he has previously fought WEC veteran LC Davis at Titan Fighting Championships V. Gagnon is quickly becoming a contender in the bantamweight division and he will show us why when he spoils the UFC debut of Gorman.

A welterweight division competition is next as Chris Indich (5-1-0) battles Richard “Filthy Rich” Walsh (7-1-0). Indich will be making his UFC debut in this fight and none of his professional MMA fights went to a decision. Walsh will also be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he has not competed in a pro fight in well over a full year. Indich is known for his abilities to finish a fight and he will use those abilities to get the victory over Walsh.

Up next is a welterweight division affair as Vik “The Spartan” Grujic (6-2-0) takes on Nordine Taleb (8-2-0). Grujic will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is a veteran of the Australian Fighting Championships. Taleb will also be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is coming off of a three fight run in Bellator. Taleb has fought far superior competition when compared to his opponent and that experience will help him get the win.

Headlining this portion of the card is a lightweight division fight as Mark Bocek (11-5-0) faces Mike “El Cucuy” De La Torre (12-3-0). Bocek has won two of his last three fights under the UFC banner, with a notable win over Nik Lentz at UFC 140. De La Torre will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he has previously defeated Strikeforce veteran James Terry. Bocek is always on the cusp of becoming a contender in the division and he will get a little closer to becoming one as he defeats De La Torre.
