UFC and World Series Of Fighting veteran Gerald Harris has announced his retirement from MMA, his record was 22-5-0. Harris had a four fight run in the UFC, winning three fights, but was unceremoniously released after a loss to Maiquel Falcao at UFC 123. Harris also competed twice under the WSOF banner, defeating Jorge Santiago and suffering a defeat to Josh Burkman. Harris's last professional MMA bout came at the WSOF IV in August 2013, where he defeated Jorge Santiago by unanimous decision.
