This weekend begins with an overseas MMA event in Malaysia and it will end with another overseas MMA event in Cage Warriors 68 from England. The event will be headlined by the highly anticipated return of Bellator veteran Jim Wallhead to Cage Warriors. There are plenty of great fights on the card and there is a lone fight that is part of the unaired preliminary card, with the bout featuring some up and coming MMA talents.
The lone unaired preliminary card fight takes place in the lightweight division as Ellis Hampson (3-0-0-1NC) faces Azi Thomas (1-0-0). Hampson will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight, having spent his whole career in the Olympians MMA Championships promotion. Thomas made his professional MMA debut in November 2013, defeating Mitchell Head by submission. Hampson has been dominating his opponents thus far in his MMA career and that domination will continue when he defeats Thomas.
