The final event of this MMA weekend will be another card from the Ultimate Fighting Championships, featuring Matt Brown versus Erick Silva in the main event. Besides a total of ten fights airing on Fox Sports 1, there will be a trio of fights airing on UFC Fight Pass. Of those three fights, Manny Gamburyan will fight Nik Lentz in a key featherweight division bout.
Kicking off the action is a welterweight division bout as Anthony “The Recipe†Lapsley (23-6-0-2NC) battles Albert “Einstein†Tumenov (12-2-0). Lapsley is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a fight to Jason High by decision at UFC 167. Tumenov is also winless thus far in his UFC run, with his loss coming to Ildemar Alcantara at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Mousasi. This is a must win situation for both competitors in this one and it will be Lapsley getting the much needed win.
Up next is a lightweight division fight as Justin “J-Bomb†Salas (11-5-0) takes on Ben “Manimal†Wall (7-1-1). Salas has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last fight being a loss to Thiago Tavares at UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson. Wall is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot. Wall looked good prior to his failure in his UFC debut, but he will rebound to defeat Salas in this encounter.
Headlining this portion of the card is a featherweight division bout as Manny “The Anvil†Gamburyan (13-7-0-1NC) faces Nik “The Carny†Lentz (24-6-2-1NC). Gamburyan will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, last defeating Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen. Lentz has won three of four fights as a featherweight in the UFC, most notably defeating Diego Nunes at UFC On FX VII. This fight should have had better placement on this card, but it will be Lentz getting the win either way.
