Capping off another big weekend of MMA action will be another big pay-per-view offering from the UFC. The event is going to be headlined by a flyweight title bout as champion Demetrious Johnson defends against Ali Bagautinov. There are only two preliminary card fights airing on UFC Fight Pass, with UFC veteran Roland Delorme in the featured spot.
Kicking off the action is a lightweight division attraction as Jason Saggo (9-1-0) battles Josh Shockley (11-2-0). Saggo will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he will be doing so after being out of action for almost a full year. Shockley will be making his UFC debut in this bout as well and he has previously defeated UFC veteran Shamar Bailey. These are two fighters who are getting a great opportunity to make a first impression and it will be Shockley making that great first impression.
Headlining this portion of the card is a bantamweight division bout as “Stunning†Roland Delorme (9-2-0-1NC) faces Michinori Tanaka (9-0-0). Delorme has won three of five under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Edwin Figueroa at UFC 161. Tanaka will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is a former Pacific Xtreme Combat Bantamweight Champion. This fight should have a higher position on the card, but it will be Tanaka shocking Delorme to have a successful UFC debut.
