For the second straight weekend, there will be two different UFC events this weekend and it will all begin with UFC 175. The event will be headlined by a middleweight title bout as Chris Weidman defends against Lyoto Machida. There are two preliminary card fights airing on UFC Fight Pass, with a pair of top rated middleweight prospects in action.
Kicking off the action is a middleweight division bout as “King†Kevin Casey (8-3-0) battles Bubba “The Fightin' Texas Aggie†Bush (8-2-0). Casey will be starting his second UFC run in this bout and he is the current Resurrection Fighting Alliance Middleweight Champion. Bush will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is the current Legacy Fighting Championships Middleweight Champion. This fight should have a better spot on the card, considering who is involved, but it will be Bush getting his first UFC win.
Headlining this portion of the card is a middleweight division bout as Guilherme “Bomba†Vasconcelos (3-1-0) faces Luke Zachrich (13-3-0). Vasconcelos will be making his UFC debut in this bout and this will be his first bout in just over a year. Zachrich is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Caio Magalhaes at UFC On Fox 11. Zachrich did not look very good in his UFC debut, but he will right the ship to defeat Vasconcelos in this one.
