For what seems like a tradition in the UFC now, the promotion will again be putting on two events in the same week. The first event is UFC Fight Night 45, which is being headlined by a lightweight division bout between Jim Miller and Donald Cerrone. There is only one fight on the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary card, but it will go down as a historical bout in the UFC.
The lone UFC Fight Pass Preliminary Card bout is a women's strawweight division fight as Claudia “Claudinha†Gadelha (11-0-0) faces Tina “Jelly Bean†Lahdemaki (5-0-0). Gadelha will be making her UFC debut in this fight and she has already defeated UFC veteran Valerie Letourneau. Lahdemaki will also be making her UFC debut in this fight and she is a longtime veteran of the Cage MMA promotion. This is the historic first women's strawweight bout in the UFC and it will be Gadelha getting first first ever win in the new UFC division.
