A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 53 as Niklas Backstrom battles Mike Wilkinson. Backstrom has already competed once under the UFC banner, having defeated Tom Niinimaki at UFC Fight Night: Munoz vs. Mousasi. Wilkinson will be looking to rebound from his first loss in the UFC, which came to Rony Jason at UFC On Fuel TV X. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from a location TBA in Stockholm, Sweden with a headliner that has yet to be announced.
