A light heavyweight division contest has been added to UFC Fight Night 53 as Jan Blachowicz faces Ilir Latifi. Blachowicz will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he has defeated UFC veterans Houston Alexander, Goran Reljic and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Latifi has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Cyrille Diabate at UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from a location TBA in Stockholm, Sweden with no headliner announced as of yet.
