A pair of championship bouts as Dakota Cochrane faces Christos Giagos for the vacant lightweight title and Mark Dickman faces Justin Lawrence for the vacant featherweight title. Cochrane is currently undefeated in RFA competition, which includes wins over UFC veterans Joe Stevenson and Efrain Escudero. Giagos will be making his RFA debut in this bout, but he does hold a win over UFC veteran Chris Tickle.
Dickman will enter the bout riding a four fight winning streak and he has previously won two bouts in RFA competition. Lawrence is a veteran of UFC competition and he is currently undefeated in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance. Resurrection Fighting Alliance 17 takes place on August 22nd from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with Dakota Cochrane and Christos Goagos headlining.
