A welterweight division attraction as UFC veteran Jake Shields makes his promotional debut against WSOF Canada Welterweight Champion Ryan Ford in a non-title affair. Shields did go 4-3-0-1NC before being cut by the UFC and he unsuccessfully challenged then UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 129. Ford will not be defending his WSOF Canada Welterweight Title against Shields, a title he won by defeating Joel Powell at the WSOF Canada I. World Series Of Fighting 14 takes place on October 11th from the Edmonton Expo Centre At Northlands in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
