Two more bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night 54 as Raphael Assuncao faces Bryan Caraway and Kailin Curran faces Paige Van Zant. Assuncao will enter the fight riding a six fight winning streak and he has not lost a bout in over three years. Caraway has won four of five fights during his UFC run, most notably defeating Erik Perez at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Khabilov.
Curran will be making her UFC debut in this fight after spending her entire career in the Pacific Xtreme Combat promotion. Van Zant will also be making her UFC debut in this fight, but she has previously fought TUF 20 alumni Tecia Torres. UFC Fight Night 54 takes place on October 4th from the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with Rory MacDonald and Tarec Saffiedine headlining.
