A welterweight division attraction as Gunnar Nelson will be in the main event for the first time against Rick Story. Nelson has won all four of his previous bouts in the UFC, last defeating Zak Cummings at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao. Story has rotated wins and losses in his last eight UFC appearances, with his last fight being a win over Leonardo Mafra at UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Miller. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
