IWF RETURNING TO NUTLEY, NJ THIS FRIDAY

IWF “UNHOLY” Summer Extravaganza This Friday, August 22 in Nutley, NJ

(NUTLEY, NJ) – Independent Wrestling Federation hosts the biggest event of the summer with “UNHOLY” this Friday, August 22, 8 pm at IWF Centre in Nutley, NJ.  Headlining the card is a Triple Main Event featuring the first-ever Stretcher Match in IWF history, pitting World Class Karson Slade against Lethal Injection Doctor Hurtz.

“A Stretcher Match ends when one wrestler successfully straps his opponent to a stretcher,” Slade explained.  “This match is unlike anything I’ve ever done before, different from anything the IWF audience has seen before.”

The Stretcher Match is custom-made for a sadistic animal like Hurtz, who is one-half of the IWF Tag Team Champions and gained some questionable victories over Karson in recent months.  On August 22nd Slade, outweighed by 30-plus pounds, certainly faces his tallest and most dangerous task to date.

The Triple Main Event continues with a tag team match as Kevin Knight teams up with Golden Boy Mike Cammett against IWF Heavyweight Champion Fifth-Element Roman Zachary and Self-Made Michael T. Blake.  After Zachary prevented Knight from a sure victory against Blake on August 9th, Knight returned the favor helping Cammett score an upset count-out win over Roman.  Now they all collide in a tag team confrontation.

The third Main Event is an IWF American Title Match with champion Phat Daddy Biggie Biggs against arch-nemesis Rude Dude Corey Havoc.  Havoc and IWF Tag Team Champion partner Doctor Hurtz scored a controversial win August 9th over Biggs and Slade, now the Phat Daddy is out for revenge in a singles match-up.

More tag team action features Simply Ravishing Shawn Donavan and the powerhouse rookie Dan Kinnally against newcomers from Massachusetts Donovan Dijak and All Good Anthony Greene.

In an Amateur Wrestling Challenge, Mandrake Espinal tangles with Kasey Coresh, while Manuel Arocho takes on IWF Wrestling School Rookie Jonathan Glattstein.  Also scheduled to appear are Referee Barry Delaney, Referee Jose Aponte, and more Rookies from IWF Wrestling School.  Card subject to change.

In addition, August 22nd is Fan Appreciation Night with special prize raffles and giveaways.  For tickets and more information, visit www.CampIWF.com.
