Following the injury to Chan Sung Jung, Max Holloway will step in on short notice to fight Akira Corassani at UFC Fight Night 53. Holloway will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, most notably defeating Andre Fili at UFC 172. Corassani has won three of four fights during his UFC run, but his last fight was a loss to Dustin Poirier at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden with Rock Story and Gunnar Nelson headlining.
