Fight #1 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Brandon Girtz (10-4-0) vs. Benny Madrid (7-1-0)

Referee: Al Gainey

Round One

The round begins with Madrid trying to hit Girtz with a high kick, Girtz drops Madrid with a two punch combination and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Brandon Girtz def. Benny Madrid by TKO via strikes (0:57, R1)

Fight #2 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Derek Campos (14-4-0) vs. Estevan Payan (15-6-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Payan quickly cracking Campos with leg kicks, Campos drills Payan with a left hook and Payan goes out cold.

Fight Result: Derek Campos def. Estevan Payan by KO via punch (0:31, R1)

Fight #3 – Bellator Heavyweight Division Fight

Stuart Austin (8-0-0) vs. Dan Charles (7-2-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Charles instantly cracking Austin with a looping right, Austin responds by popping Charles with an uppercut. Austin backs away before catching a swinging Charles with a right, Austin drops Charles with a striking combination and Charles gets right back up. Charles responds by hitting Austin with a short right to the face, Austin backs up a kicking Charles after nailing him with another counter right. Charles accidentally nails Austin low and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Charles attacking Austin with a high kick. Charles also starts nailing Austin with some leg kicks, Austin drops Charles with a two punch combo as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Austin quickly catching Charles with a straight left, Charles responds by catching Austin with a front kick to the face. Charles follows that up by kicking Austin right under the arm pit area, Charles catches an incoming Austin with a two punch combination. Charles also goes back to attacking Austin with a few leg kicks, Charles again catches a swinging Austin with a counter strike combo. Charles scores a takedown on Austin and he gets side control as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Charles just leveling Austin with a striking combination, Charles then drops a swinging Austin with a counter right and Austin goes out cold.

Fight Result: Dan Charles def. Stuart Austin by KO via punch (0:18, R3)

Fight #4 – Bellator Bantamweight Division Fight

Michael Parker (11-6-0) vs. Joe Taimanglo (19-6-1)

Referee: Al Gainey

Round One

The round begins with Taimanglo cracking Parker with a right to the rib cage, Taimanglo nails Parker with an uppercut. Taimanglo grabs a hold of Parker’s head before dragging him to the ground, Taimanglo looks for the submissions as Parker gets to his feet. Taimanglo scores a takedown on Parker and he gets side control, Taimanglo transitions to back control on a scrambling Parker. Parker scrambles again and he gets the fight to the standing position, Taimanglo holds Parker against the cage wall while they exchange some knee strikes. Taimanglo rocks Parker with some knee strikes and elbow strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Taimanglo catching a scrambling Parker with a right, Taimanglo starts attacking Parker with striking combinations. Taimanglo then pops a ducking Parker with a knee strike to the head, Taimanglo cracks Parker with another knee strike while looking for a takedown. Taimanglo tries to slow a backing Parker by hitting him with knee strikes, Taimanglo charges forward on Parker while landing a knee strike as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Taimanglo rocking a swinging Parker with a counter right, Taimanglo cracks Parker with another right before scoring a takedown. The referee stands up the fighters for inactivity and Taimanglo cracks Parker with a knee strike to the head, Taimanglo also goes back to attacking Parker with leg kicks. Taimanglo drags Parker back to the ground while controlling his head, Parker stands up after Taimanglo hits him with an elbow strike. Taimanglo attempts a few jumping spin kicks that missed Parker badly, Taimanglo hits Parker with a side kick as the round ends.

Fight Result: Joe Taimanglo def. Michael Parker by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #5 - Bellator Heavyweight Division Fight

Ryan Martinez (10-4-0) vs. Nick Rossborough (24-18-1)

Referee: Al Gainey

Round One

The round begins with Rossborough attacking Martinez with some leg kicks, Martinez catches a swinging Rossborough with a few counter lefts. Rossborough backs up Martinez after catching him with a push kick, Rossborough then pops Martinez with a kick to the midsection. Rossborough tries keeping Martinez at a distance by throwing a bunch of kicks, Martinez continues to catch Rossborough with counter strikes. Martinez hits Rossborough with a right to the midsection, Rossborough drops Martinez with a right hook as the round ends.

(Note: Ryan Martinez suffered a torn left triceps during the first round and the doctor would not let him continue after checking him between rounds.)

Fight Result: Nick Rossborough def. Ryan Martinez by TKO via injury (5:00, R1)

Fight #6 - Bellator Middleweight Division Fight

Kobe Ortiz (13-4-0) vs. Clifford Starks (9-3-0)

Referee: Al Gainey

Round One

The round begins with the fighters having a wild striking exchange near the cage wall, Ortiz holds Starks against the cage wall while eating some knee strikes. Ortiz also starts attacking Starks with some leg kicks, Starks responds by popping a swinging Ortiz with a counter left. Ortiz starts swinging wildly and he backs up Starks after landing a few of those strikes, Starks catches a swinging Ortiz with a two punch combination. Starks moves forward and he catches Ortiz with a knee to the midsection, Ortiz scores a takedown on Starks and he gets the full guard. Starks uses the wall walk to get the fight standing again, Starks clobbers Ortiz with elbow strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Ortiz attacking Starks with some leg kicks, Starks responds by nailing Ortiz with a bunch of knee strikes. Starks drops for the guillotine choke and Ortiz quickly goes out cold.

Fight Result: Clifford Starks def. Kobe Ortiz by submission via guillotine choke (0:52, R2)

Fight #7 - Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Raymond Pina (4-0-0) vs. Larue Burley (4-0-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Pina eating a few strikes before scoring a takedown on Burley, Pina cracks Burley with a knee strike as he stands back up. Pina scores another takedown on Burley and he gets the half guard, Pina attacks Burley with some knee strikes to the shoulders and rib cage. Burley pushes himself off the cage wall to get the fight standing again, Pina quickly scores another takedown on Burley and he gets the half guard. Pina attacks Burley with a lot of ground and pound, Burley scrambles after escaping a guillotine choke to get the fight standing. Pina lifts up Burley and he slams him against the cage wall to score another takedown, Burley scrambles to get top position on Pina. Burley starts pummeling Pina with punches to the midsection as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Burley just swinging wildly at Pina, Burley catches Pina with a guillotine choke during a takedown attempt and a tap out follows.

Fight Result: Larue Burley def. Raymond Pina by submission via guillotine choke (0:22, R2)
