Fight #7 - UFC Women’s Bantamweight Division Fight

Cat Zingano (8-0-0) vs. Amanda Nunes (9-3-0)

Referee: Jason Herzog

Round One

The round begins with Nunes scoring a takedown on Zingano and she gets the full guard, Nunes quickly transitions to the half guard on Zingano. Zingano nearly catches Nunes in an arm bar while on her back, Nunes postures up and she eats an up kick from Zingano. Nunes stays postured up and she clocks Zingano with a right, Nunes pounces on Zingano with a plethora of strikes. Nunes continues attacking Zingano with a lot of ground and pound, Nunes postures up again and she clocks Zingano with more strikes. Nunes rolls for the heel hook and Zingano escapes to get top position, Zingano quickly starts attacking Nunes with some ground and pound. Zingano gets up and she allows Nunes to stand up as well, Zingano scores a headlock takedown on Nunes and she gets the half guard as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Zingano grabbing a hold of Nunes to assault her with knee strikes, Zingano scores a takedown on Nunes and she gets side control. Zingano starts attacking Nunes with some ground and pound as she moves into the half guard, Zingano stands up and she kicks away at the legs of Nunes. Zingano goes back to the ground and gets the half guard on Nunes, Zingano goes back to attacking Nunes with some elbow strikes. Zingano rolls for a foot lock and Nunes rolls as well to attempt one of her, Zingano remains on top of Nunes after the foot lock attempts. Zingano nails Nunes with some more strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Zingano attacking Nunes with a ton of knee strikes, Zingano scores a takedown on Nunes and she gets the half guard. Zingano quickly transitions to the full mount on Nunes, Zingano also starts attacking Nunes with some ground and pound. Zingano turns up the pressure with her strikes on Nunes and the referee is forced to jump in.

Fight Result: Cat Zingano def. Amanda Nunes by TKO via strikes (1:21, R3)

Fight #8 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Tim Kennedy (18-4-0) vs. Yoel Romero (8-1-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Kennedy nailing Romero with a kick to the rib cage, Kennedy then pops a kicking Romero with an uppercut. Romero responds by catching Kennedy with a straight right, Romero backs up Kennedy after popping him with a few lefts. Romero also starts attacking Kennedy with some leg kicks, Kennedy scores a takedown on Romero and they pop right up to their feet. Romero quickly scores a takedown on Kennedy and they again stand right back up, Romero scores another takedown and Kennedy gets right up again. Romero then hits a kicking Kennedy with a counter right, Kennedy kicks away at Romero as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Kennedy attacking Romero with a front kick to the belly area, Kennedy tries keeping Romero at bay by throwing a bunch of kicks. Romero continuously tries to land the left on Kennedy, Romero backs up Kennedy after clocking him with a wild left. Kennedy starts catching Romero with a few right hooks, Kennedy grabs a hold of Romero to pop him with a few uppercuts. Kennedy drops for a guillotine choke and Romero escapes to get the fight standing, Kennedy cracks a backing Romero with a spinning back fist. Romero holds Kennedy against the cage wall as they use dirty boxing on each other, Kennedy clobbers Romero with a plethora of strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Romero quickly dropping Kennedy with a plethora of strikes, Kennedy gets up and Romero drops him again with a bunch of strikes. Romero settles in the half guard and he assaults Kennedy with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Yoel Romero def. Tim Kennedy by TKO via strikes (0:58, R3)

Fight #9 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Dustin Poirier (16-3-0) vs. Conor McGregor (15-2-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with McGregor nailing Poirier with a spinning back kick to the rib cage, Poirier starts attacking McGregor with some leg kicks. Poirier pops a swinging McGregor with a counter left, McGregor backs up Poirier after hitting him with a few lefts. McGregor drops Poirier with a left and he pounces on him with a few more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Conor McGregor def. Dustin Poirier by TKO via strikes (1:46, R1)

Fight #10 - UFC Lightweight Division Fight

Donald Cerrone (24-6-0-1NC) vs. Eddie Alvarez (25-3-0)

Referee: John McCarthy

Round One

The round begins with Cerrone kicking Alvarez in the midsection, Cerrone then pops a swinging Alvarez with a counter right. The fighters start exchanging some leg kicks, Alvarez grabs a hold of Cerrone and he assaults him with a plethora of strikes to the head. Alvarez then forces Cerrone against the cage wall before landing a three punch combination, Alvarez cracks Cerrone with a left as he starts hunting for the takedowns. Cerrone grabs a hold of Alvarez to crack him with a knee strike to the head, Cerrone continues catching Alvarez with kicks to the rib cage. Cerrone trips up Alvarez before attacking him with a knee strike, Cerrone kicks away at Alvarez as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Cerrone landing a kick to the midsection of Alvarez, Cerrone grabs a hold of Alvarez to clock him with a knee strike. Cerrone clobbers an incoming Alvarez with a knee to the upper body, the fighters attack the others midsection with strikes while in the clinch. Cerrone starts nailing Alvarez with a ton of leg kicks, Alvarez continues catching Cerrone with some rights. Cerrone cracks Alvarez with another knee strike before holding him against the cage wall, Cerrone catches a backing Alvarez with a leaping left hook. Cerrone then attacks Alvarez with some more strikes to the head, Alvarez nails Cerrone with a spinning back fist as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Alvarez instantly looking for the takedown on Cerrone, Cerrone responds by kicking Alvarez in the rib cage. Alvarez rocks a knee striking Cerrone with a counter right, Cerrone recovers by hitting Alvarez with a few knee strikes. Cerrone goes right back to attacking Alvarez with leg kicks, Cerrone rocks Alvarez with a knee strike to the head. Cerrone cracks a swinging Alvarez with a head kick after eating some lefts, Cerrone backs up Alvarez with some leg kicks and he drops him with a head kick. Cerrone settles on top of Alvarez and he pummels him with some ground and pound until the round ends.

Fight Result: Donald Cerrone def. Eddie Alvarez by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Main Event - UFC Flyweight Title Fight

Demetrious Johnson (20-2-1) (Champion) vs. Chris Cariaso (17-5-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Johnson quickly attacking Cariaso with leg kicks, Cariaso moves forward on Johnson while throwing rights. Johnson scores a takedown on Cariaso and he gets the half guard, Cariaso gets Johnson in the full guard while eating some strikes. Cariaso wall walks to his feet as Johnson attacks him with knee strikes to the rib cage, Cariaso looks for a takedown and Johnson pummels him with an elbow strike. Johnson backs up Cariaso after landing a kick to his rib cage, V floors Cariaso with a knee strike and wild right as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Cariaso attacking Johnson with some leg kicks, Johnson charges forward on Cariaso while attempting a head kick. Cariaso slips on a kick attempt and Johnson gets on top of him, Johnson transitions to the half guard on Cariaso. Johnson catches Cariaso in the crucifix position while attacking him with strikes, Johnson advances to side control on Cariaso. Johnson locks Cariaso in the kimura and a tap out follows.

Fight Result: Demetrious Johnson def. Chris Cariaso by submission via kimura (2:29, R2) to retain the UFC Flyweight Title
