In what may be considered the biggest Legacy FC event of 2014 takes place on Friday Night with two title bouts taking place. That is because Cody East faces Vernon Lewis for the vacant heavyweight title and Damacio Page faces Brian Hall for the vacant flyweight title. There is only a single fight on the unaired preliminary card, but it features some top female MMA prospects.
The lone preliminary card bout takes place in the women’s strawweight division as “South Valley’s Own†Angelica Chavez (4-3-0) faces Natalie Rose (2-1-0). Chavez will enter the fight riding a three fight losing streak and she has not won a bout in well over three years. Roy has spent her entire career in the Triple A MMA promotion and both of her wins were first round finishes. Chavez has been facing some hard times in her MMA career and those hard times will continue as Roy gets the win.
