There are a trio of MMA events taking place this weekend, but there will only be one MMA event taking place on Halloween. That event is Titan Fighting Championships 31, which will be headlined by Mike Ricci facing Yoshiyuki Yoshida for the vacant lightweight title. There are only two events on the untelevised portion of the preliminary card, featuring some MMA prospects in action.
Kicking off the action is a featherweight division bout as William Sizemore (0-0-0) battles Matt Wagy (3-2-0). Sizemore will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he did win three of four fights as an amateur. Wagy has only won just one of his last three bouts and he is a veteran of the International Fighting Championships promotion. Sizemore had a pretty good run during his time as an amateur and he will be starting off his pro career with a victory as he defeats Wagy.
Headlining this portion of the card is a lightweight division bout as Mike Bruno (11-7-0) faces Kamrin Naville (7-7-0). Bruno will enter the fight riding a three fight losing streak and he has not earned a victory in nearly two years. Naville has won two of his last three bouts, with one of those wins coming over longtime MMA veteran JP Reese. These are two well-traveled MMA veterans here, but Naville has seen a career resurgence as of late and his resurgence will continue as he defeats Bruno.
