A welterweight division clash has been added to UFC 182 as Omari Akhmedov sees action against Mats Nilsson. Akhmedov will be looking to rebound from his first UFC defeat, which came to Gunnar Nelson at UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa. Nilsson is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Luke Barnatt at UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa. UFC 182 takes place on January 3rd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier headlining.
