There are a pair of UFC events taking place this weekend, with UFC Fight Night 56 in Brazil being the event that caps everything off. The event will be headlined by a light heavyweight division attraction as Mauricio Rua faces Ovince St. Preux. There is only a single fight on the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary card and it takes place in the welterweight division.
The lone Fight Pass preliminary card bout takes place in the welterweight division as Colby Covington (6-0-0) faces Wagner “Wagnao†Silva (3-1-0). Covington has already competed once under the UFC banner, having defeated Anying Wang at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Le. Silva is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a fight to Ricardo Abreau at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil III Finale. Covington is quietly becoming a prospect to watch in the UFC and he will keep his undefeated streak intact as he defeats Silva.
