Michinori Tanaka has tested positive for both ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, the UFC has suspended the fighter for nine months. Tanaka failed the drug test at UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan, the UFC conducted the drug test independently and suspended Tanaka at their own accord. Tanaka lost a split decision to Kyung Ho Kang at the event, which took place this past September and the event aired on UFC Fight Pass.
