After being cancelled due to a stomach ailment for Derek Brunson, a middleweight bout between Brunson and Ed Herman has been rebooked for UFC 183. Brunson has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Lorenz Larkin at UFC 177. Herman has won two of three fights in his second UFC run, last defeating Rafael Natal at UFC Fight Night: Brown vs. Silva. UFC 183 takes place on January 31st from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz headlining.
