Former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight Champion BJ Penn was arrested this past weekend in Maui, Hawaii for allegedly assaulting a friend in a hotel room. Penn was arrested by the Maui County Police Department after the assaulted friend called the police after escaping the hotel room. Penn has since been released from prison, no other details of the case has been released as of this writing.
