The heavyweight titles are set to be unified at UFC 188 as UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez is set to faces UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum. Velasquez will be making the third defense of his championship, last defending it against Junior Dos Santos at UFC 166. Werdum became the interim heavyweight champion at UFC 180, where he defeated Mark Hunt by TKO. UFC 188 takes place on June 13th from a location TBA in Mexico City, Mexico with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
