By David Tees on 6/25/2015 10:05 PM

In between some stellar events from Bellator MMA and the UFC will be another top notch card from the Legacy Fighting Championships. The event will be headlined by a lightweight division bout between UFC veteran Anthony Njokuani and Josh Quayhagen. Also, ten more of the best MMA prospects will look to burst onto the national scene with a main card victory.

Main Card

Main Event

Legacy FC Lightweight Division Fight

Josh “Quay” Quayhagen (7-3-0) vs. Anthony “The Assassin” Njokuani (16-10-0-1NC)

Quayhagen has only won just one of his last four fights, with that lone win coming over Thomas Webb at World Fighting Championships 12. Njokuani enters the fight riding a three fight losing streak and he has not achieved a victory in well over two years. Quayhagen did win three of four fights while in Bellator MMA, most notably defeating Cosmo Alexandre at Bellator 52. Njokuani did win three of seven fights during his UFC run, rotating wins and losses throughout that run. Neither fighter will make it to the top of the lightweight rankings, buy Quayhagen will mistakenly engage Njokuani in strikes, which is where Njokuani gets the quick finish to return to his winning ways.

Co-Main Event

Legacy FC Middleweight Division Fight

Ryan “Superman” Spann (5-1-0) vs. Larry “Tae Kwan” Crowe (9-4-0)

Spann will be making his Legacy FC debut in this fight and he has only seen one of six career bouts go to the judge’s scorecards. Crowe has won three of his last four under the Legacy FC banner, most notably defeating Jon Kirk at Legacy FC 25. Spann did compete four times under the Hero FC promotion, winning three of those bouts in that promotion. Crowe has already challenged for the Legacy FC Middleweight Title twice, losing both title opportunities. Crowe is known for his striking skills, which plays into the ground game of Spann and it will lead to a submission win for Spann.

Legacy FC Flyweight Division Fight

Vanderlei “Lulu” Carvalho Leite (5-4-0) vs. Matt “Danger” Schnell (6-2-0)

Leite will be making his Legacy FC debut in this fight and he just competed over two months ago in the 011 MMA Team promotion. Schnell will be returning to Legacy FC after a year’s absence, having won three bouts in between appearances. Schnell is one of the better flyweight prospects in MMA right now, Schnell gets the second round submission win here.

Legacy FC Welterweight Division Fight

Gage “The Dominator” Duhon (4-1-0) vs. Sage Northcutt (3-0-0)

Duhon will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Josh Davilla at World Fighting Championships 35. Northcutt will be making his third Legacy FC appearance in this bout and he has yet to see a fight go past the opening round. Northcutt has been running through opponents since turning pro last year, Northcutt gets another quick TKO finish here.

Legacy FC Bantamweight Division Fight

Justin “Darth” Rader (3-1-0) vs. Joel Scott (3-3-0)

Rader will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Ricardo Ramos at Legacy FC 41. Scott has rotated wins and losses throughout his professional MMA career, with his last fight being a win over Amador Ramirez at South Texas Fighting Championships 34. Rader will be looking to get this fight to the ground quickly, which is where he grinds out a decision over Scott.

Legacy FC Bantamweight Division Fight

Roberto Sanchez (1-0-0) vs. Trent Meaux (1-0-0)

Sanchez made his professional MMA debut back at Legacy FC 39, where he defeated Jacob Silva by decision. Meaux made his professional MMA debut back at World Fighting Championships 35, defeating Landon Ackel by submission. These are two newcomers who are getting a huge opportunity to compete on national TV, Meaux gets another submission win in this one.
