Main Card
Main Event
RFA Middleweight Division Fight
Brock “The Machine†Jardine (12-5-0) vs. Anthony “Lionheart†Smith (22-11-0)
Jardine has won three of five fights since his UFC release, which came after a loss to Kenny Robertson at UFC 157. Smith has won five of six fights since his UFC tenure ended in 2013 after a loss to Antonio Braga Neto at UFC On Fuel TV X. Jardine will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak and this fight will be his fourth of 2015. Smith is coming off of a two fight stint in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion, where he defeated Tim Williams twice. Jardine’s vastly improved striking game is worth keeping an eye on, but it will be Smith dragging Jardine to the ground to get the eventual submission win.
Co-Main Event
RFA Featherweight Division Fight
Ryan “Are You Ready?†Roberts (21-10-1-1NC) vs. Adam “Prime Time†Townsend (13-3-0)
Roberts fought in the UFC over seven years ago and he makes his RFA debut on the strength of a five fight winning streak. Townsend is coming off of the biggest win thus far of his MMA career when he defeated UFC veteran Yuri Villefort at AXS TV Fights: Legacy FC vs. RFA. Roberts is coming off of a five fight stint in the Victory Fighting Championships, where he defeated UFC veteran LC Davis and Bellator MMA veteran Chase Beebe. Townsend is currently riding a seven fight winning streak and he once challenged for the 3FC Featherweight Title. Roberts could be a win away from returning to the big stage of MMA, but Townsend is a star in the making and he defeats his second straight UFC veteran as he submits Roberts in the first.
RFA Bantamweight Division Fight
Matt Brown (10-4-0) vs. Darrick Minner (13-4-0)
Brown is currently undefeated in RFA competition, last defeating Andre Tieva by third round TKO at RFA 24. Minner has won three of four fights under the RFA banner, but the fighter has never fought twice in a row for the promotion yet. The winner of this could be in line for a bantamweight title shot and Minner will get one after subbing Brown in the second.
RFA Lightweight Division Fight
Zach “The Juice†Juusola (10-3-0) vs. Robert Rojas Jr. (8-4-0)
Juusola is coming for the first time since losing a title bout to then-champion Mehdi Baghdad at RFA 21. Rojas Jr. Will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he has previously competed against UFC veteran Drew Dober. Juusola will be finding himself back into title contention quickly as he grinds out a decision win over Rojas Jr..
RFA Lightweight Division Fight
Grant Dawson (7-0-0) vs. Dan “The Hitman†Moret (8-2-0)
Dawson will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he has only seen one career bout go past the opening round. Moret has won two of four fights in his RFA tenure, but his is coming off of a win over Jay Ellis at King Of The Cage: Power Surge. Dawson is an amazing fighter when the bout hits the ground, which it quickly will as Dawson gets a first round submission on Moret.
RFA Welterweight Division Fight
James Nakashima (3-0-0) vs. Chance “Black Eagle†Rencountre (7-0-0)
Nakashima has already competed twice under the RFA banner and he also competed on the inaugural Aggression Session MMA event. Rencountre will be making his RFA debut in this fight, but he has fought three times under the C3 Fights banner. This is a great fight to kick off the live card, but it will be Rencountre using his striking skills to get a first round finish on Nakashima.
