By David Tees on 11/19/2015 7:43 PM

For the second straight week, the One Championships promotion puts on another event that must be checked out by MMA fans. The event will be headlined by a pair of title bouts as Jadamba Narantugalag faces Marat Gafurov in a featherweight title unification fight and Adriano Moraes defends the flyweight gold against Kairat Akhmetov. Also, there will be a featherweight division tournament and several other top MMA prospects are in action.

Main Event

One Championships Featherweight Title Unification Fight

Jadamba Narantugalag (10-3-0) (One Championships Featherweight Champion) vs. Marat “Cobra” Gafurov (12-0-0) (One Championships Interim Featherweight Champion)

Narantugalag will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Koji Oishi at One FC 19. Gafurov will be making the third defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Rob Lisita at One FC 21. Narantugalag will be returning to action after a fifteen month absence due to a variety of injuries and health related matters. Gafurov has already competed three times under the One Championships banner, with all three of those fights ending within the first round. Narantugalag is a worthy featherweight champion, but his lack of cage time in recent months will affect him here, Gafurov gets a first round submission win to unify the belts.

Co-Main Event

One Championships Flyweight Title Fight

Adriano “Black Diamond” Moraes (13-1-0) (Champion) vs. Kairat “The Kazakh” Akhmetov (22-0-0)

Moraes will be making the second defense of his championship, last defending it agaisnt Asuka Mikami at One Championships 25. Akhmetov will be making his One Championships debut in this fight, with seventeen of hiswins being first round finishes. The fight against Mikami at One Championships 25 was the first time that Moraes had fought five rounds in his entire professional MMA career. Akhmetov is a longtime veteran of the Alash Pride promotion and he fought an amazing eleven times in 2011. Akhmetov has an astounding record for a guy with little fanfare entering this title bout, Moraes gets a third round submission win to keep his belt.

One Championships Flyweight Division Fight

Li Wei Bin (2-0-0) vs. Wang Ya “The Wolverine” Wong (1-0-0)

Bin has spent his entire professional MMA career in One Championships, but he will be returning to action after being away nearly a full year. Wong made his professional MMA debut earlier this year at One Championships 28, defeating Yun Long Li. This is as much as pick ‘em as there is in MMA right now, but it will be Yong getting a decision win to stay undefeated.

One Championships Welterweight Division Fight

Nikolay Aleksakhin (16-3-0) vs. Burenzorig Batmunkh (3-1-0)

Aleksakhin will be makingb his One Championships debut in this fight and he does so while riding a five fight winning streak. Batmunkh will also be making his One Championships debut in this fight and he is a veteran of the Mongolian MMA Championships. Aleksakhin has a massive experience advantage when compared to his opponent and he uses that advantage to grind out a decision victory.

One Championships Welterweight Division Fight

Jeff Huang (5-2-0) vs. Trestle “Jun Minion” Tan (3-4-0-1NC)

Huang is currently undefeated under the One Championships banner and he returns to a promotion after a year absence. Tan won the initial battle against Huang, which came via first rund TKO at Pro FC X in May of this year. Huang was upset big time in the first encounter, but he learns from that experience to get a TKO finish in the opening round.

One Championships Beijing Featherweight Tournament II Semi-Finals

Alateng Burigede (0-3-0) vs. Yang Sen (0-0-0)

Burigede is currently winless since turning pro in late 2014 and he will also be making his One FC debut in this fight. Sen will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he has no amateur experience to speak of. Burigede may have a minor experience edge in this contest, but it will be Sen getting the decision win to make a successful pro debut.

One Championships Beijing Featherweight Tournament II Semi-Finals

Zhang Jia Cai (0-0-0) vs. Feilong Cai (0-1-0)

Zhang will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he has no amateur experience to speak of. Feilong made his professional MMA debut in September of 2014, suffering a defeat to Tang Yao at the Chinese Kung Fu Championships. There is not much advantage that either fighter owns over the other in the tournament, but it will be Zhang getting a decision win to advance.

One Championships Beijing Featherweight Tournament II Reserve Fight

Wang Ya Wei (2-1-0) vs. Jia Wen Ma (1-1-0)

Wei has spent his entire professional MMA career until this point in One Championships, last defeating Su Noto at One Championships 26. Ma will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Di Yuan Huang at One Championships 28. It is interesting that the two best fighters in the tournament are in the reserve fight, but it will be Wei getting a TKO finish in the opening round.
