A multitude of fights are set for UFC Fight Night 82 as Derek Brunson faces Roan Carneiro, Chris Camozzi faces Joe Riggs, Trevor Smith faces Leonardo Augusto Guimaraes, Shane Campbell faces James Krause, Siyar Bahadurzada faces Brandon Thatch, Shamil Abdurakhimov faces Anthony Hamilton and Alex Garcia faces Sean Strickland.

Brunson enters the fight riding a three fight winning streak, last defeating Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. St. Preux. Carneiro is currently undefeated in his second UFC run, having defeated Mark Munoz by submission at UFC 184. Camozzi has won just one of two in his second UFC run, with that lone win coming over Tom Watson at UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. St. Preux. Riggs has won just one of three in his most recent UFC run, with that lone win coming over Ron Stallings at UFC 191.

Smith has rotated wins and losses during his UFC run, with his last bout being a win over Dan Miller at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. Guimaraes will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so on the strength of a six fight winning streak. Campbell will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came over Elias Silverio at UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Oliveira. Krause has just won one of his last three in UFC competition, with that lone win coming over Daron Cruickshank at UFC On Fox 16.

Bahadurzada will be returning to action after a two-plus year absence and he has not achieved a victory in nearly four years. Thatch will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, which is the first losing streak the fighter has had since turning pro. Abdurakhimov is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a fight to Timothy Johnson at UFC Fight Night: Mendes vs. Lamas. Hamilton has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last bout being a win over Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC Fight Night: Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop II.

Garcia has won three of four fights during his UFC run, must notably defeating Mike Swick by decision at UFC 189. Strickland has also won three of four fights during his UFC tenure and this will be his fourth “fight night” appearance. UFC Fight Night 82 takes place on February 21st from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with no headliners announced as of yet.
