UFC III veteran Emmanuel Yarborough has passed away at the age of 51, no cause of death has been made public as of this writing. Yarborough competed at UFC III in September 1994, getting knocked out by Keith Hackney in the first round of the UFC tournament. Yarborough would compete two more times before retiring in 1998, his last bout being a loss to Daiju Takase at PRIDE III. Yarborough had been reportedly weighing over 700 pounds as of a few years back, he was an amateur sumo wrestler and college football player at Morgan State before entering MMA for a brief time in the late 90’s.
