The biggest double main event in UFC history is set for UFC 197 as Rafael Dos Anjos defends the lightweight title against current featherweight champion Conor McGregor, while women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm defends against Meisha Tate. Dos Anjos will be making the second defense of his championship, last defending it against Donald Cerrone at UFC On Fox 17. McGregor will not be defending his featherweight title in this bout, a title he won by defeating Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
Holm will be making the first defense of her championship, which she won by defeating Ronda Rousey at UFC 193. Tate will enter the fight riding a four fight winning streak and she has not lost a bout in just over two years. UFC 197 takes place on March 5th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Rafael Dos Anjos and Conor McGregor headlining.
