Yoel Romero, who recently scored a controversial decision win over Ronaldo Souza at UFC 194, has tested positive for a yet to be named substance. USADA, the company that handles drug testing for UFC fighters, announced that Romero failed the test earlier this week. Romero’s possible fine and suspension have yet to be announced, but he was considered next in line to face UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold.
