Alessandro Souza, a top MMA referee in Brazil, passed away this past Sunday at the age of 46 after being involved in a motorcycle accident. According to reports, Souza was traveling to Barra Da Tijuca (Brazil) when he lost control of his bike, crashed and suffered spinal cord damage that lead to his untimely passing. Souza had been a mainstay in the Brazilian MMA scene, officiating in the countries top promotions like Shooto Brazil and Jungle Fight.
