Canadian Wrestling's Elite kicked off its 2016 calendar year at Rookie's Sports Bar on Friday night January 22nd with The Calm Before The Storm and here is what went down!
1) "The God Of Gimmick" Tommy Lee Curtis pinned Roy Dragneel.
2) In a non title match CWE 123Approved.ca TV Champion "Wrestling's Strongest Man" Tyler Colton defeated the debuting "Uptown" Petey Brown.
3) In a CWE Championship Match "A-List" Anderson Tyson Moore retained against "The Hot Prospect" Travis Cole.
4) "The Crazed Country Rebel" Jacob Creed was victorious over "Superstar" Tod Bullet.
5) The Convent (Orin Veidt & Jacob Savage) beat the team of "Tiny" Tyler Rose & Tyler James
6) The Peg City Punishers, "Misfit" Mike Mission & "The German Juggernaut" Moses Luke were declared the winners of an impromptu match against The Heavenly Dad Bodies, "Super Dad" Kory Kinkade & "Super Dad" Bubbles McFly.
7) "Hotshot" Danny Duggan beat "Average" Adam Race by reverse decision,
8) WIldman Firpo w/"Pastor" Brad Jackson made short work of Mask Of Honor.
9) In a Total Annihilation match for the CWE Tag Team Championships the champions Blazin' Dick (Dick Blood & Billy Blaze) continued their historic title reign besting The Peg City Punishers & The Cannon Clan (Kevin Cannon & Bobby Collins)
