Mercado will be making his Victory FC debut in this fight and he does enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak. Martinez is actually a former Victory FC Welterweight Champion, he held the championship back in February 2008. Mercado recently challenged for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance Bantamweight Title, losing to Luke Sanders at RFS 20. Martinez has a massive experience advantage in the fight, but Mercado has better wrestling and he grinds out a decision to win the championship.

Victory FC Lightweight Division Fight

Dakota Cochrane (22-9-0) vs. Jake “The Librarian” Lindsey (10-3-0)

Cochrane fought six times in 2015 and he did compete previously in Victory FC, defeating Sean Huffman at Victory FC: Harrah’s Fight Night III. Cochrane will want to out wrestle a fellow ground fighter in Lindsey, which he will do to earn the decision.

Victory FC Lightweight Division Fight

Cody Carrillo (10-12-0) vs. Sean “P-Town” Wilson (35-27-0)

Carrillo has won only two of his last eight fights, but he is coming off of a win over Shakir McKillip at Revolution Cage War I. Wilson will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with one of those losses coming to UFC veteran Justin Lawrence. Wilson is going to want to get this bout to the ground quickly and he will on route to tapping Carrillo in the first.

Kenneth Glenn (6-2-0) vs. Yuri Villefort (7-5-0)

Glenn will enter the fight on a two fight winning streak and none of his eight pro bouts have gone to the judge’s scorecards. Villefort is a UFC veteran who has only won just one of his last six fights, with that lone win coming over Doug Jenkins at Gladiator Challenge. Villefort has been on such a poor run lately that his momentum is on a huge downturn, Glenn will outstrike Villefort to get the decision win.

Victory FC Lightweight Division Fight

Grant Dawson (7-0-0) vs. Bryce Logan (3-1-0)

Dawson is coming off of an amazing year in 2015, having won five of his seven career fights in that year alone.
