Rafael Sobral is no longer the Shooto Brazil Bantamweight Champion after the fighter failed a post-fight drug test after beating Luciano Benicio for the gold in November of last year. Sobral tested positive for drostanolone according the the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission, Benicio will now be crowned the Shooto Brazil Bantamweight Champion. Sobral will be suspended for two years and that is retroactive, which means he will be able to compete again in November of 2017.
