After a short time as a free agent, Alistair Overeem has decided to sign a new contract with the UFC, where he has won five of eight bouts. Overeem was a free agent after defeating Junior Dos Santos by knockout at UFC On Fox 17 this past December, capping a three fight winning streak. Overeem is rumored to be in line for a future heavyweight title shot, but he will have to wait a little longer as Fabricio Werdum is expected to defend his belt against Stipe Miocic this May.
