Following the injury to Trevor Smith, Anthony Smith has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Leonardo Guimaraes at UFC Fight Night 83. Smith will be starting his second run with the UFC and he is the current Victory Fighting Championships Middleweight Champion. Guimaraes will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so while on a six fight winning streak. UFC Fight Night 83 takes place on February 21st from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Donald Cerrone and Alex Oliveira headlining.
