UFC veteran Mikey Burnett and his son Freddie Burnett were shot by a pair of armed robbery suspects in the parking lot of a Tulsa, Oklahoma gym. Mikey was shot three times in the abdomen and his son Freddie was shot one time in the leg, both are expected to make full recoveries. Mikey Burnett has not competed in a professional MMA fight in nearly seventeen years, as his last bout as a pro came at UFC 18, where he defeated Townsend Saunders.
