Fight #1 - BRACE Featherweight Division Fight: Ryan Gillett (2-0-0) vs. Paul Trash (0-2-0)

Referee: Don Pappy

Round One

The round begins with Trash attacking Gillett with some leg kicks, Gillett scores a takedown on Trash and he gets the half guard. Trash quickly forces Gillett into the full guard position, Gillett rolls for a heel hook and he releases it to retain the half guard. Trash tries attacking Gillett with strikes while on his back, Gillett transitions to side control on Trash. Gillett then takes the opportunity to get the full mount and then back control on Trash, Trash tries shaking Gillett off of him and he gets caught in an arm bar to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Ryan Gillett def. Paul Trash by submission via arm bar (3:26, R1)

Fight #2 – BRACE Lightweight Division Fight: Mason Lord (1-1-0) vs. Joe Pollock (1-2-0)

Referee: John Sharp

Round One

The round begins with Pollock attacking Lord with some leg kicks, Pollock then cracks an incoming Lord with a left. Pollock follows that up by hitting a swinging Lord with a counter left, Lord comes forward and the two fighters have a striking exchange. Lord catches a swinging Pollock with a pair of counter lefts, Pollock charges forward on Lord while throwing punches. Lord grabs a hold of Pollock and he eventually scores the takedown, Lord transitions to back control on Pollock. Pollock shakes Lord off of him and he is now in top position, Pollock starts attacking Lord with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Pollock quickly attacking Lord with punching combinations, Pollock then hits a swinging Lord with a counter right. Pollock continues attacking a charging Lord with striking combinations, Lord scores a takedown on Pollock and he gets back control. Lord starts going for the rear naked choke on Pollock and he gets it on the second attempt to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Mason Lord def. Joe Pollock by submission via rear naked choke (2:30, R2)

Fight #3 – BRACE Welterweight Division Fight: Jarod Farlow (2-0-0) vs. Joel Vigors (0-0-0)

Referee: Jim Perteous

Round One

The round begins with Farlow coming forward on Vigors while landing a few strikes, Vigors quickly grabs and holds Farlow against the cage wall. Farlow goes for a standing guillotine choke and Vigors escapes after a long struggle, Vigors then hits a kikcing Farlow with a counter strike combination. Vigors scores a takedown on Farlow and he gets the half guard, Farlow eats strikes from Vigors as he gets him in the full guard. Vigors stands up and he allows Farlow to stand up as well, Vigors backs Farlow into the cage wall with a huge striking combination. Vigors scores another takedown on Farlow and he gets the open guard, Vigors escapes a triangle choke attempt to get side control on Farlow. Viigors attacks Farlow with a bunch of ground and pound until the referee finally jumps in.

Fight Result: Joel Vigors def. Jarod Farlow by TKO via strikes (4:50, R1)

Fight #4 – BRACE Women’s Bantamweight Division Fight: Jess Doueihi (0-1-0) vs. Caitlin McEwen (0-0-0)

Referee: John Pappy

Round One

The round begins with McEwen charging at Doueihi while throwing strikes, McEwen scores a takedown on Doueihi and both women scramble back to their feet. McEwen scores another takedown and she gets full mount on Doueihi, McEwen attacks Doueihi with a lot of ground and pound until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Caitlin McEwen def. Jess Doueihi by TKO via strikes (1:32, R1)

Fight #5 – BRACE Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight: Nurbolat Kuandyk (1-0-0) vs. Sean Le Gourrierec (3-0-0)

Referee: John Sharp

Round One

The round begins with Kuandyk quickly nailing Le Gourrierec with an overhand right, Le Gourrierec starts attacking Kuandyk with leg kicks. Kuandyk backs up Le Gourrierec after attempting a head kick, Le Gourrierec scores a takedown on Kuandyk and he gets the half guard. Le Gourrierec transitions to the side control position on Kuandyk, Kuandyk scrambles to his feet and Le Gourrierec pops him with a punching combination before scoring another takedown. Kuandyk sweeps Le Gourrierec to get on top of him before a scramble stands them both up, Kuandyk starts catching Le Gourrierec with a bunch of lefts. Le Gourrierec scores another takedown on Kuandyk and he gets side control, Kuandyk eventually forces Le Gourrierec into his full guard. Le Gourrierec scrambles to get side control on Kuandyk as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Kuandyk roocking Le Gourrierec with a multiple strike combination, Le Gourrierec scores a takedown on Kuandyk and he gets side control. Kuandyk scrambles to his feet and he scores a takedown on Le Gourrierec, Le Gourrierec scrambles to his feet to get the fight standing again. Kuandyk then pops Le Gourrierec with a short left, Le Gourrierec backs up Kuandyk after nailing him with a spinning back kick to the midsection. Le Gourrierec drops Kuandyk with a kick to the midsection and he gets back control once he gets to the ground, Le Gourrierec ytransitions to the full mount on Kuandyk. Kuandyk sweeps Le Gourrierec and he gets back control on him, Kuandyk starts attacking Le Gourrierec with ground and pound. Kuandyx catches a rolling Le Gourrierec in a triangle choke while pounding on him with strikes to force the referee to jump in.

Fight Result: Nurbolat Kuandyk def. Sean Le Gourrierec by TKO via strikes (3:33, R2)

Fight #6 - BRACE Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight: Paul Franchi (3-1-0) vs. Anthony Bynoe (3-1-0)

Referee: John Pappy

Round One

The round begins with Franchi attacking Bynoe with a kick to the midsection, Bynoe responds by landing a few kicks of his own. Bynoe backs Franchi into the cage wall by throwing a variety of strikes, Franchi responds by nailing Bynoe with a pair of rights. Franchi then catches Bynoe with a pair of strikes to the midsection, Bynoe scores a takedown on Franchi and Bynoe gets back up purposely while landing a few strikes. Bynoe starts landing a bunch of leg kicks on Franchi, the fighters chase each other around the cage while throwing kicks. Bynoe then hits Franchi with a pair of kicks to the midsection as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Bynoe attacking Franchi with some leg kicks, Bynoe then pops a swinging Franchi with a counter left hook. Franchi injures his shoulder while throwing a punch and the referee stops the fight.

Main Event - BRACE Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight: Theo Christakos (4-1-0) vs. Kevin Manderson (24-14-1)

Referee: Jim Perteous

Round One

The round begins with Christakos nailing Manderson with a high kick, Manderson looks for the takedown as Christakos cracks him with elbow strikes. Christakos backs up Manderson after catching him with an uppercut, Christakos scores a takedown on Manderson and he gets the full guard. Christakos starts nailing Manderson with some ground and pound, Christakos transitions to back control on Manderson. Christakos goes right back to attacking Manderson with ground and pound, Christakos locks in the rear naked choke and a tap out follows.
