It's one of the year's biggest pro wrestling events - NECW's 2016 IRON 8 Championship - and it takes place in just one week - Saturday night, June 11 at the Americal Civic Center in Wakefield, MA.
The 8 men is this year's tournament are NECW Heavyweight Champion and last year's IRON 8 winner, "The Masshole" Mike McCarthy, new NECW Television Champion, "Pure Talent" Chris Escobar, former NECW Television Champion, Todo Loco, former 2CW Champion, Jay Freddie, former 3 time NECW Heavyweight Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown, from Create A Pro Wrestling in NY, T.J. Warren, from Victory Championship Wrestling, Kevin Tibbs and from NECW Heavyweight Champion, Brad Hollister.
In addition to the tournament, there will be a special Mixed Tag Team Champion's Challenge as Jack Maverick, one half of the NECW Tag Team Champion, The Regulators teams with Triple W Champion, Nikki Valentine to take on former Triple W Champion, Mistress Belmont and a mystery partner.
